CHAT, the Department of Education, and Tufts University Art galleries invite you to join us on May 5 for a special workshop featuring professors and visual artists, to broaden your horizons in the world of art.

Participants can expect to:

Engage in collaborative discussions centered around art objects to practice active listening and explore diverse perspectives, enhancing the capacity for empathy.

Analyze how shared art observations can spark new insights and connections within a group setting, reinforcing the value of collective meaning-making.

Participate in a hands-on artmaking experience to reflect on and internalize the power of creative expression as a tool for personal connection and community building.

This event will be co-hosted by Dr. Susan Barahal (Department of Education), Dr. Noelle Roop (Department of Education), and Elizabeth Canter (Tufts University Art Galleries).

All are welcome. No previous experience required. Please RSVP to attend.
