The Center for Humanities at Tufts (CHAT) offers fellowships for scholars and doctoral students in the humanities, humanistic social sciences, and the arts. Fellowships are available for Tufts doctoral candidates and faculty, as well as visiting scholars and postdoctoral researchers. CHAT also offers funding in support of conferences, workshops, speaker events, and programs in the humanities at Tufts when possible. We evaluate requests for partnership on an ongoing basis. 

CHAT Fellowships

CHAT Sponsors fellowships for dissertation writers, postdoctoral scholars, and faculty. CHAT accepts applications in late fall and releases decisions in early spring, annually. 

CHAT Event Funding

CHAT offers funding in support of conferences, workshops, speaker events, and programs in the humanities at Tufts when possible. We evaluate requests for partnership on an ongoing basis.
