Festival de la Herencia Hispana Variedades, 10/3
CHAT is excited to partner with the Department of Romance Studies to celebrate Hispanic heritage. This festival will run for approximately four hours and will be organized into three main components, each allowing for extended engagement (90–120 minutes), either sequentially or in parallel depending on final scheduling and space availability:
Performances by university clubs and student groups, highlighting music, dance, spoken word, and other forms of collective artistic expression connected to Hispanic cultures.
Student Talent Showcase, featuring students from Spanish and Portuguese courses who wish to present creative work such as poetry, storytelling, music, or interdisciplinary performances.
Spanish-language TED-style talks, offering students and faculty the opportunity to share short, impactful reflections on language, culture, identity, or social issues relevant to Hispanic communities.
