University Ecologies, in conjunction with the department of Environmental Studies, is hosting an event in the Curtis Hall Multipurpose Room entitled "Losing Control of Campus Landscapes.” Held Thursday, October 30, this event features Mark Bomford, Director of Yale Sustainable Food Program, as he explores the paradoxes of care and control in campus landscapes. Bomford invites us to imagine campuses not as spaces of control, but as living laboratories for just and adaptive futures.

Later that day, he will speak at The University Ecologies special event, “The Past and Future of the Tufts Pollinator(+) Initiative" that invites Tufts community to learn about the history of the Pollinator Initiative and explore its future direction. The gathering will begin at 2:30 PM at the Pollinator Garden in front of 574 Boston Ave, followed by a discussion at 4:30 PM in Alumnae Lounge.

This talk will be livestreamed and recorded. This lecture is co-sponsored by University Ecologies.
