Transformation of Mental Health Care Program
Deadline: November 20, 2026 at 11:59pm EST. Application portal opens August 15.
Budget/Amount: $100,000 per year for 2 years ($200,000 total). Indirect costs limited to 10%.
Purpose: Supports research testing scalable, innovative approaches to improving access to mental health care and prevention services for children and adolescents, particularly those from low-income, under-resourced, and other underserved communities. Projects must build on promising pilot data and have potential for future scaling.
Eligibility: U.S.-based academic researchers at universities, research institutions, health systems, or similar organizations. Investigators at any career stage may apply. Co-applicants are permitted if at the same institution. One resubmission allowed.

Fellowship Program (ADHD and Depression)

Budget/Amount: $50,000 per year for 2 years ($100,000 total). Indirect costs limited to 10%.
Purpose: Supports postdoctoral and junior faculty researchers studying the causes, prevention, and treatment of ADHD or depression in children and adolescents, particularly those from underserved and under-resourced communities.
Eligibility: PhD or MD; postdoctoral or junior faculty level; must have a primary mentor and be nominated by a Department Chair. Eligible departments include psychology, psychiatry, pediatrics, developmental pediatrics, social work, public health, and education. Not eligible if already funded by an NIH R01 or equivalent award.

Humanity AI - Open Call for Proposals
Deadline: October 21, 2026 at 7:59pm ET.
Budget/Amount: Grants range from $75,000 to $1,000,000 for projects up to 3 years in duration.
Purpose: Supports U.S.-based, community-led initiatives that help shape how AI is built, governed, and used. Priority areas include Education, Labor and Economy, and Humanities, Arts, and Culture, with projects focused on community leadership, AI governance, open-source/open-weight AI, and protecting human agency in AI systems.
Eligibility: Open to U.S.-based nonprofit organizations, collaborations, and individuals working with a fiscal sponsor or other 501(c)(3) organization. Projects must focus on U.S.-based communities.
