Budget/Amount: Funding amount varies; funds are divided among multiple outstanding proposals and may provide partial support for projects. 
Purpose: Supports research on the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) in psychology, including projects related to instructional design, data collection, analysis, manuscript development, and dissemination of findings. 
Eligibility: Open to STP members who teach psychology at four-year colleges and universities, two-year colleges, or high schools. Projects must have a strong likelihood of resulting in a peer-reviewed presentation or publication.

Fine Arts Work Center (FAWC) Writing Fellowship
Deadline: December 15, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. EST.

Budget/Amount: Seven-month residency includes private housing, dedicated work space/studio, monthly stipend, and additional support for artistic practice, up to $2,500. 
Purpose: Supports emerging writers and visual artists through a seven-month residency in Provincetown, Massachusetts, providing time, space, community, and financial support to pursue independent creative work. 
Eligibility: Open to emerging writers and visual artists. The Rona Jaffe Foundation Fellowship is available to eligible U.S. women writers who have not yet published a first book in a standard edition.

American Association of Biological Anthropologists (AABA)
Cobb Professional Development Grants
Deadline: Early January 2027 annually (no date yet*)

Budget/Amount: Up to $7,500; no indirect costs. 
Purpose: Supports the professional development of early-career biological anthropologists conducting applied, pedagogical, or academic research. Funds may support research activities, pilot studies, preliminary data collection, curriculum development, community engagement, and other career-advancing projects. 
Eligibility: Applicants must have completed a PhD or equivalent terminal degree in biological anthropology or a related discipline and hold a non-tenured position (e.g., postdoctoral scholar, lecturer, assistant professor, or equivalent). Membership in AABA is not required. Applicants may receive only one Cobb Professional Development Grant during their career.
