The Aurality Hub Initiative has launched a new podcast! The first season of the Stories of Sound podcast is now available.

Stories of Sound is an audio series that delves into sound arts and audio storytelling, offering listeners a window into the creative processes, challenges, and inspirations of artists, authors and theorists who tell stories through sound.

This collection was curated at the SMFA, with support from the FRAC, School of Arts & Sciences at Tufts.

This first season includes conversations with legendary sound artists Annea Lockwood and Hildegard Westerkamp, writer and audio author Rick Moody, radio producers Axel Kacoutié, Jazmine JT Green, Eleanor McDowall (BBC Radio), as well as podcast studies scholar Siobhan McHugh and podcasters Nick Van Der Kolk (Love + Radio) and Tamar Avishai (The Lonely Palette).
