"Ballaké Sissoko, Kora Tales" Film Screening

The Department of Music at Tufts invites the Tufts community to join them on March 27 for a film screening about Ballaké Sissoko in Distler Performance Hall. The screening of the film Ballaké Sissoko, Kora Tales tells the story of the kora, one of Africa’s most iconic instruments, featuring kora player Ballaké Sissoko. Co-written and co-directed by Lucy Durán and Laurent Benhamou.

This screening is part of the International Symposium on the Musical Arts of Africa (ISMAA), taking place at Tufts Music March 28-29. Learn more about this symposium.
