CHAT invites you to join us on October 2 at 4 p.m. for a special presentation by CHAT Fellow, Dr Kyera Singleton. Her talk, entitled "A Museum that Slavery Built: Memory and the Archive of Containment" will examine how the history of enslaved people is memorialized in the public record.

Dr. Kyera Singleton is the Executive Director of the Royall House and Slave Quarters. She holds a PhD from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor in the Department of American Culture. Before joining CHAT, she was an American Democracy Fellow in the Charles Warren Center at Harvard University. She has held prestigious academic fellowships from the Beinecke Foundation, the Andrew W.
