The Center for the Humanities, in partnership with the Department of English, the Asian American Center, the Middle Eastern Studies Program, the Department of Studies in Race, Colonialism, and Diaspora, invite the Tufts Community to a special conversation with Hala Alyan. 

Hala Alyan is a multi-genre writer as well as a clinical psychologist who specializes in trauma, addiction, and cross-cultural behavior. Her writing often touches on identity and the effects of displacement, particularly within the Palestinian diaspora.
