The 2025 HONK! U Conference celebrates twenty years of HONK! with a day of talks, workshops, and performances exploring the power of street music as art and activism.

From New Orleans culture and resistance to Haitian Rara, participatory brass jams, and conversations on inclusion, democracy, and community organizing, the conference brings together musicians, activists, and scholars to reflect on how brass bands build movements and inspire change.
