Symposium and Bus Tour to introduce Slavery, Colonialism and their Legacies-- Nov. 8

The Center for Humanities, The Center for the Study of Race & Democracy, The Tufts Archival Research Center, the History Department and the Office of the Provost would like to welcome the Tufts community to attend our upcoming symposium on the Slavery, Colonialism, and their Legacies at Tufts project. The event will be held on Wednesday November 8th. Below is a brief summary of the various activities. You can sign up for part or all of this event:
- Historical Bus Tour: leaving from 48 Professor’s Row at 2pm to take attendees from the Medford Campus to Boston. The bus will return to Medford by 4pm (for those who need to get back), and will also pick up symposium attendees at 6pm for another return trip
- Reception: 3:30-4:30, Alumni Lounge, Room 1514, Tufts Dental School, 1 Kneeland Street
- Symposium: Black and Native Histories in the Health Sciences: an Introduction to the Slavery, Colonialism, and their Legacies at Tufts Project: 4:30-6, Rachel’s Auditorium, Tufts Dental School, 1 Kneeland Street
All are welcome, but spots may be limited for the bus tour. RSVPs are requested.
