Teaching Trans-Trans Teaching, 11/13
48 Professors Row
Sponsored by the Center for Humanities at Tufts and the Grad TLC program, we warmly invite you to join us next Monday for a special event with guest rl Goldberg from the McGraw Center for Teaching and Learning at Princeton.
rl Goldberg joined the Prison Teaching Initiative as an instructor in 2015, served as a Bain-Swiggett English fellow, and taught courses in English and gender studies until they finished their Ph.D. in 2021. After two years in the Society of Fellows at Dartmouth, rl returned to PTI in 2023 as an instructional specialist in the humanities. rl earned a Ph.D. from Princeton in English and Humanistic Studies. Their first book, I Changed My Sex! Pedagogy and Trans Narrative, forthcoming from Columbia University Press, charts representations of phenomenological self-recognition in United States trans writing.
This event will be held in person and on zoom. All are welcome to come join. If you would like to attend virtually, please contact Jennifer Minnen (jennifer.minnen@tufts.edu).
