Tufts Muse Grants-- due Oct. 18
The MUSE Arts, Humanities, and Humanistic Social Sciences is a new funding program, sponsored by the Office of the Vice Provost for Research (OVPR), to support intramural projects. Offered annually, awards will be made up to $7,500 for up to one year. Proposals will be due October 18, 2023.

NEHC Funding available-- apply by Oct. 1
The New England Humanities Consortium (NEHC) is offering competitive seed grants for research initiatives in the humanities that seek to capitalize on the collaborative network and potential of the consortium. Applications seeking to sustain, and build on, previously funded NEHC initiatives that demonstrated success are also welcome. Awards of up to $5,000 will be made.

Tufts Joins NHA
The National Humanities Alliance works to bolster undergraduate humanities enrollments, promote public engagement with the humanities, and increase funding for the humanities. Their work includes collaborating with Universities to understand the humanities are facing, advocating for the value of the humanities on the national stage, and bringing together higher ed professionals with representatives from scholarly societies, community organizations, and state humanities councils in support of the humanities. Tufts is delighted to join the NHA for the 2023-24 academic year.
